  9. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and families during times of emotional distress.
  10. Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance job performance and maintain licensure.
  11. Comply with all ethical and legal standards of practice, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
  12. Collaborate with insurance providers and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate coverage and reimbursement for social work services.
  13. Serve as a positive and professional representative of Northwell Health and the social work profession.
  14. Contribute to the overall success of the social work team and the organization by actively participating in team meetings, sharing knowledge and expertise, and supporting team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Social Work (Msw) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Lmsw License In The State Of New York.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Hospital Setting.

  • Strong Assessment, Counseling, And Case Management Skills.

  • Knowledge Of And Adherence To Ethical Principles And Standards Of Social Work Practice.
