Current Paramedic Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Valid And Active Paramedic Certification, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Skills In Emergency Medical Care.
Previous Emergency Communications Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, With A Strong Understanding Of Emergency Communication Protocols And Procedures.
Excellent Communication Skills: This Position Requires Effective Communication With Emergency Services Personnel, As Well As Patients And Their Families. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential.
Knowledge Of Emergency Medical Services (Ems) Systems: A Solid Understanding Of Ems Systems, Including Dispatch Procedures, Ambulance Services, And Emergency Response Protocols, Is Crucial For This Role.
Ability To Multitask And Work Under Pressure: As A Paramedic Communications Coordinator, The Candidate Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively, Even In High-Stress And Time-Sensitive Situations. The Ability To Remain Calm And Composed Under Pressure Is A Must.
