  1. Coordinate and dispatch emergency medical services in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Respond to critical situations with compassion and urgency.
  3. Maintain a high level of communication with emergency responders and healthcare facilities.
  4. Monitor and track emergency response times to ensure efficient delivery of care.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all emergency calls and responses.
  6. Communicate with patients and their families to provide support and reassurance during emergency situations.
  7. Maintain a thorough understanding of emergency medical protocols and procedures.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care for patients.
  9. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in emergency response protocols.
  10. Provide training and guidance to new paramedics and emergency responders.
  11. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to emergency medical services.
  12. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude when dealing with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Paramedic Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Valid And Active Paramedic Certification, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Skills In Emergency Medical Care.

  • Previous Emergency Communications Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, With A Strong Understanding Of Emergency Communication Protocols And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: This Position Requires Effective Communication With Emergency Services Personnel, As Well As Patients And Their Families. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential.

  • Knowledge Of Emergency Medical Services (Ems) Systems: A Solid Understanding Of Ems Systems, Including Dispatch Procedures, Ambulance Services, And Emergency Response Protocols, Is Crucial For This Role.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work Under Pressure: As A Paramedic Communications Coordinator, The Candidate Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively, Even In High-Stress And Time-Sensitive Situations. The Ability To Remain Calm And Composed Under Pressure Is A Must.
