Responsibilities:
- Provide perfusion services to patients in the operating room and other areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for perfusionists.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of perfusion procedures and patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced technology, such as heart-lung machines, to ensure safe and effective use of perfusion services.
- Participate in continuing education programs related to perfusion.
- Monitor and adjust patient's vital signs during perfusion procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor in all interactions with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives related to perfusion.
Certified By The American Board Of Cardiovascular Perfusion
Current Licensure As A Perfusionist In The State Of New York
Bachelor's Degree In Cardiopulmonary Science Or Related Field
