  1. Provide exceptional care to patients in the Ob/Gyn department.
  2. Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  3. Meet with patients to assess their healthcare needs and provide appropriate care and treatment.
  4. Administer medications, treatments, and perform procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  6. Educate patients and their families on various health topics and assist in developing self-care strategies.
  7. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  8. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and their families.
  9. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
  10. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  11. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
  12. Participate in continuous education and training to maintain and improve clinical skills and knowledge.
  13. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  14. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  16. Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
  17. Keep abreast of current trends and developments in the field of Ob/Gyn nursing.
  18. Advocate for patient rights and ensure their needs are met.
  19. Support a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
  20. Uphold the mission and values of Northwell Health in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field

  • Current Rn License In The State Of Practice

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In An Ambulatory Care Setting, Preferably In Women's Health Or Ob/Gyn

  • Cpr Certification And Additional Relevant Certifications Such As Acls Or Pals

  • Strong Clinical Assessment And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
