We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Ambulatory department, specializing in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and utilize your skills to provide high-quality care to our youngest patients. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about pediatric care and has a strong background in allergy and immunology.   1. Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in the Ambulatory department specializing in Allergy and Immunology.
  2. Utilize strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric care to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create individualized treatment plans for patients.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Monitor patients' responses to treatments and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
  6. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding allergies and immunology, including proper medication administration and management.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  9. Participate in staff meetings and trainings to stay current on best practices and advancements in pediatric allergy and immunology care.
  10. Serve as an advocate for pediatric patients and their families, promoting their rights and ensuring their needs are met.
  11. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, fostering a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  13. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Northwell Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Practice.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Allergy And Immunology.

  • Bls Certification From The American Heart Association.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Ambulatory Setting.
