Registered Nurse- Delivery Room

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Delivery Room at Northwell Health. In this role, you will be providing compassionate care to our patients and their families in a highly critical care environment. We are looking for a passionate and experienced nurse who has a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.The ideal candidate will possess a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York, and at least three years of experience in the delivery room/labor and delivery unit. Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate care to patients and their families in a highly critical care environment.
2. Utilize organizational, detail-oriented, and independent working skills.
3. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
4. Maintain a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
5. Follow all protocols and regulations set forth by Northwell Health.
6. Administer medications and treatments as needed.
7. Monitor vital signs and other patient data and document in patient records.
8. Ensure patient safety and comfort by adhering to safety and infection control measures.
9. Assist in the delivery room as well as labor and delivery unit.
10. Maintain professional relationships with other healthcare providers.
