- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients, staff, and visitors with directions, information, and other needs.
- Monitor security equipment and systems, such as CCTV cameras and alarms, and report any malfunctions or issues.

- Collaborate with other security personnel and healthcare staff to develop and implement safety protocols and emergency response plans.
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement and emergency services in the event of a security breach or emergency situation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports of all security incidents, investigations, and activities.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on security procedures and practices.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor at all times, promoting a positive and safe environment for all.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, including patient privacy and confidentiality laws.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For The Security Officer Position At Northwell Health. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge To Perform Their Duties Effectively.
Previous Security Experience: Candidates With Previous Security Experience, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Will Be Given Preference For The Security Officer Role At Northwell Health. This Experience Demonstrates An Understanding Of Security Protocols And Procedures, Making The Candidate Better Equipped For The Job.
