As a CRNA III at Novant Health, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.   1. Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  2. Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures.
  3. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective anesthesia administration.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  5. Educate patients and their families about anesthesia and the surgical process.
  6. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on advancements in anesthesia and patient care.
  7. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  8. Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.
  9. Assess patients pre- and post-operatively to ensure they are stable and comfortable.
  10. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients undergoing surgery.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  12. Act as a resource and mentor for other CRNAs and nursing staff.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety and satisfaction.
  14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.

  • A Current And Valid License To Practice As A Nurse Anesthetist In The State Of North Carolina.

  • A Minimum Of Three Years Of Experience As A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Crna) In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Graduation From An Accredited Master's Degree Program In Nurse Anesthesia.

  • Certification From The National Board Of Certification And Recertification For Nurse Anesthetists (Nbcrna).
