Clinical Pharmacist Oncology

Novant Health is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist Oncology to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in pharmacy practice in oncology, knowledge of oncology drug therapy, and experience with patient counseling.The Clinical Pharmacist Oncology will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care services to our oncology patients. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care services to oncology patients.
2. Monitor and manage drug therapies in oncology, including patient education, drug information support, and medication reconciliation.
3. Maintain a valid state license to practice pharmacy.
4. Collaborate with patient care teams to ensure optimal care.
5. Provide timely and accurate drug information to patients and healthcare providers.
6. Ensure medication safety and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
7. Create, update, and review medication orders.
8. Monitor and assess patient response to drug therapies.
9. Document all drug therapy activities.
10. Participate in the education of students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
