Emergency Medical Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Provide emergency medical services in accordance with Novant Health standards.
2. Assist in the transportation of patients to medical facilities and provide medical attention in emergency situations.
3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as authorized by medical personnel.
4. Monitor vital signs and document patient care for medical personnel.
5. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
6. Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
7. Respond quickly and accurately to medical emergencies.
8. Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
9. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
10. Maintain current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification and valid driver’s license.
