Infection Preventionist

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor infection prevention and control activities in accordance with established standards and regulations.
2. Review and analyze infection control data and trends to identify potential areas of improvement.
3. Develop and implement infection prevention and control protocols, policies, and procedures.
4. Conduct educational sessions and training on infection prevention and control topics.
5. Monitor compliance with infection prevention and control practices and procedures.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on applicable infection prevention and control standards.
7. Investigate potential outbreaks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the spread of infection.
8. Perform regular audits of clinical areas and practices for infection prevention and control compliance.
9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper infection control practices are followed.
10. Provide guidance and expertise to healthcare staff on infection prevention and control practices.
