Medical Surgical LPN

This individual should have the passion and drive to provide the highest level of patient care by delivering exceptional service in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid license in the state of North Carolina, and at least two years of Medical Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting. They should also possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to providing patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional patient care in a team environment by following all established protocols and procedures.
2. Participate in patient assessment, diagnostic testing, and interventions.
3. Medicate and treat patients according to physician orders.
4. Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare team members.
5. Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide education to them and their families.
6. Maintain a safe and clean environment to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
8. Create and maintain accurate patient records according to established standards.
9. Participate in quality assurance initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
10. Remain up-to-date on the latest developments in medical surgical nursing.
