1. Provide comprehensive care to pregnant women and their newborns, including prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.
2. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social health to develop individualized care plans.
3. Monitor and manage the progress of labor and delivery, including administering medications and performing medical procedures as needed.
4. Educate and support patients and their families on healthy pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
7. Stay up-to-date on current research and evidence-based practices related to midwifery and women's health.
8. Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in providing care to patients.
