1. Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients in accordance with Novant Health’s standards and protocols.
2. Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans for patients.
3. Perform routine procedures such as pap smears, breast exams, and prenatal care.
4. Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
5. Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and family planning methods.
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and progress.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and participate in continuing education opportunities.
9. Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and residents.
