- Assist the physical therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs and goals.
- Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions, exercises, and techniques to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans in accordance with company and legal standards.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Continuously stay updated on advancements and changes in the field of physical therapy to provide the most effective and evidence-based care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure a positive and supportive treatment experience.
- Contribute to the overall success of the physical therapy department by participating in team meetings, performance improvement initiatives, and other departmental activities.
Associate's Degree In Physical Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid License To Practice As A Physical Therapist Assistant In The State.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In An Acute Care Or Outpatient Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients And Healthcare Team.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Techniques In Physical Therapy, As Well As Understanding Of Insurance And Billing Procedures.
