- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, according to established protocols and standards.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures by following proper radiation protection and patient positioning techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including procedure documentation and image storage.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the most appropriate imaging methods for each patient.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including performing regular quality control checks to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Educate and communicate with patients about procedures, answering any questions or concerns they may have.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant industry advancements and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines, including HIPAA regulations.

Degree In Radiologic Technology: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Program.
Arrt Certification: The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Certification Is Required For All Radiology Technologists At Novant Health.
State Licensure: Candidates Should Be Licensed To Practice As A Radiology Technologist In The State Where The Novant Health Facility Is Located.
Experience: Novant Health Prefers Candidates With At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Knowledge Of Radiology Equipment: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of And Experience With Various Types Of Radiology Equipment, Including X-Ray, Mri, Ct, And Ultrasound Machines.
