  1. Provide specialized and compassionate care to patients in the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine department.
  2. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  4. Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  5. Educate patients and their families on health topics, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  8. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
  9. Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential patient care issues.
  10. Serve as a positive and professional representative of Novant Health, promoting the organization's mission and values in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  11. Maintain a current RN license and comply with all state and federal regulations and guidelines.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction by actively listening to and addressing patient concerns and needs.
  13. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
  14. Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient appointments and procedures.
  15. Attend and participate in team meetings, staff development, and performance improvement initiatives as required.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bls And Acls Certifications From The American Heart Association.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Relevant Experience In Orthopedic And/Or Sports Medicine Settings.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Orthopedic And Sports Medicine Procedures, Treatments, And Equipment.
