Registered Nurse- Mother Baby

1. Provide compassionate and quality care to new mothers and their newborns.
2. Educate and support new mothers on postpartum care and newborn care.
3. Utilize strong background in maternal and infant health to provide expert care and guidance.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for new mothers and their newborns.
5. Monitor and assess the physical and emotional well-being of new mothers and their newborns.
6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
7. Educate new mothers on breastfeeding techniques and provide support as needed.
8. Monitor and assist with newborn feeding and weight gain.
9. Conduct postpartum assessments and provide education on self-care and warning signs of postpartum complications.
10. Document accurately and thoroughly in patient records.
11. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and their families.
12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
13. Serve as a resource and mentor for new and inexperienced nurses.
14. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in mother-baby nursing.
15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
