Registered Nurse - Special Maternity Care Antepartum

Novant Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to provide special maternity care antepartum services to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, educating and counseling patients and families about antepartum care and related topics, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care, including antepartum care, to patients in accordance with Novant Health standards.
2. Educate and counsel patients and families on antepartum care and related topics.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.
4. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments in care as needed.
5. Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with Novant Health standards.
6. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care.
7. Participate in team meetings and other quality improvement initiatives.
8. Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
9. Maintain current knowledge of trends in antepartum care and neonatal care.
10. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
