Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Revenue Cycle Services team as a Cash Application Account Analyst. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely recording of payments and adjustments, as well as identifying and resolving any discrepancies in the cash application process. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.   1. Accurately record and apply payments and adjustments to patient accounts in a timely manner.
  2. Identify and resolve discrepancies in the cash application process.
  3. Work closely with the billing and coding teams to ensure accurate and complete payment posting.
  4. Conduct thorough research and analysis to resolve any payment posting issues.
  5. Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  6. Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve payment discrepancies.
  7. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all cash application processes.
  8. Develop and maintain knowledge of insurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  9. Collaborate with team members to continuously improve and streamline cash application processes.
  10. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to cash application and revenue cycle processes.
  12. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
  13. Contribute to the overall financial success of the organization through accurate and efficient cash application.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
  15. Keep confidential information secure and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  16. Continuously strive to meet and exceed performance metrics and goals.
  17. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to cash application and revenue cycle management.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Cash Application Or Revenue Cycle Management

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Revenue Cycle Processes And Systems, Such As Epic Or Meditech

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams
