1. Accurately and efficiently process and post payments for Novant Health organization.
2. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all cash application tasks.
3. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
4. Stay up-to-date on healthcare billing processes, industry changes, and company policies.
5. Collaborate with revenue cycle management team to identify and implement process improvements.
6. Ensure all payments are correctly applied to the appropriate patient accounts.
7. Review and reconcile daily deposits to ensure accurate posting of payments.
8. Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.
9. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
10. Provide excellent customer service to patients and other stakeholders.
11. Meet productivity and quality standards set by the organization.
12. Assist with training new team members and provide ongoing support and guidance.
13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
