  1. Perform radiological procedures under the supervision of licensed radiologists and technologists.
  2. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
  3. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and privacy.
  4. Operate and maintain radiology equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
  5. Follow established protocols and safety measures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  6. Assist with patient scheduling and maintaining accurate records of procedures performed.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
  8. Continuously update knowledge and skills through participation in training and educational programs.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards of conduct.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  13. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, coworkers, and superiors.
  14. Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology: The Candidate Should Have Completed A Certified Program In Radiologic Technology And Obtained An Associate's Degree To Be Eligible For The Position.

  • Arrt Certification: The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Certification Is Required To Practice As A Radiology Technologist. The Candidate Should Have Passed The Arrt Exam And Maintained Their Certification.

  • State Licensure: In Addition To Arrt Certification, The Candidate Should Also Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Radiology Technologist. This License Is Obtained By Meeting The State's Specific Requirements And Passing An Exam.

  • Experience With Imaging Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Various Imaging Equipment Such As X-Ray, Mri, Ct, And Ultrasound Machines. They Should Also Have Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Be Able To Troubleshoot Technical Issues.

  • Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills: As A Radiology Technologist, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential To Effectively Explain Procedures And Ensure Patient Comfort. They Should Also Have A Compassionate And Caring Demeanor Towards Patients.
