In this role, you will work closely with our Category Manager to support and execute our merchandising strategies.   1. Assist the Category Manager in developing and executing merchandising strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product assortment aligns with current trends and customer demands.
  3. Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth within assigned category.
  4. Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of products.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for reorders and markdowns.
  6. Assist in creating and maintaining visual merchandising standards to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  7. Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and pricing strategies.
  8. Support in the development of promotional plans and marketing initiatives to drive category sales.
  9. Manage and update product information and pricing in internal systems.
  10. Assist in the planning and execution of seasonal and holiday product launches.
  11. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any issues that may arise.
  12. Provide support to store teams regarding product knowledge and availability.
  13. Stay current on industry trends and recommend new products to enhance the overall product assortment.
  14. Contribute to the overall success of the company by completing other tasks and projects as assigned by the Category Manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Category Management Or Retail Merchandising.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Trends And Make Data-Driven Decisions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Vendors.

  • Knowledge Of Party Supplies And Industry Trends Is Preferred But Not Required.
