As a key holder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our store by providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere.   1. Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, offering product recommendations, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  3. Act as a role model for the team by exhibiting a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for the brand.
  4. Take initiative to drive sales by promoting products, upselling, and cross-selling.
  5. Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  6. Manage and oversee the cash register, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  7. Train and mentor new team members on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of current promotions, sales, and company policies.
  9. Assist with inventory management and restocking products as needed.
  10. Be responsible for opening and closing the store, including cash management and security procedures.
  11. Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and loss prevention measures.
  12. Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  13. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products to provide customers with the best possible shopping experience.
  14. Assist with store merchandising, including setting up displays and ensuring all products are accurately priced and labeled.
  15. Foster a positive and energetic work environment for the team and contribute to a culture of teamwork and inclusivity.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Retail Experience: A Key Holder At Party City Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Retail Operations And Customer Service. Previous Experience In A Similar Role Is Preferred.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Key Holders Are Responsible For Supervising And Directing Store Associates. Therefore, They Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Motivate And Coach Team Members.

  • Excellent Organizational Skills: As A Key Holder, One Must Be Able To Multitask And Prioritize Responsibilities. Strong Organizational Skills Are Crucial In Maintaining Store Operations And Meeting Deadlines.

  • Cash Handling Experience: Key Holders Are Often Responsible For Opening And Closing The Store, As Well As Managing Cash Registers And Deposits. Therefore, Experience In Cash Handling And Basic Math Skills Are Important Qualifications For This Role.

  • Availability And Flexibility: Retail Key Holders Are Typically Required To Work Flexible Hours, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. Candidates Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work During Peak Business Hours.
