Welcome to Party City, where we celebrate all of life's special occasions! We are currently seeking a Retail Key Holder to join our dynamic team. As a key holder, you will play a vital role in the overall success of our store by assisting in the day-to-day operations and ensuring a positive customer experience. We are looking for someone who is passionate about retail, has strong leadership skills, and is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.   1. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  3. Serve as a role model for the team by displaying a positive attitude and demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  4. Act as a leader on the sales floor by providing guidance and support to team members.
  5. Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about store policies and procedures.
  6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking and merchandising to ensure a visually appealing store.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention measures.
  9. Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve store goals.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized store environment to provide a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
  11. Handle key holder responsibilities, including opening and closing the store, handling cash deposits, and securing the store after hours.
  12. Assist in scheduling and managing employee shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
  13. Act as a problem solver and handle any issues that may arise on the sales floor.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by actively participating in team meetings and providing feedback and suggestions.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: A Retail Key Holder Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills In Order To Effectively Manage And Supervise A Team Of Retail Associates. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Communicate Effectively, And Provide Guidance And Support To Team Members.

  • Retail Experience: Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment Is Often A Requirement For A Retail Key Holder Position. This Experience Helps The Candidate Understand The Day-To-Day Operations Of A Retail Store And Ensures They Have A Basic Understanding Of Customer Service, Inventory Management, And Sales Techniques.

  • Organizational Skills: Retail Key Holders Are Responsible For Opening And Closing The Store, Managing Cash Flow, And Ensuring The Store Is Properly Stocked And Maintained. Therefore, Strong Organizational Skills Are Essential For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Multitask, Prioritize Tasks, And Maintain A Clean And Organized Store Environment.

  • Customer Service Skills: Party City Is A Customer-Centric Company, And As Such, A Retail Key Holder Must Possess Excellent Customer Service Skills. This Includes The Ability To Provide Friendly And Efficient Service To Customers, Resolve Any Customer Complaints Or Issues, And Ensure A Positive Shopping Experience For All Customers.

  • Availability And Flexibility: Retail Key Holders Are Often Required To Work Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays, As These Are Peak Shopping Times For Party City. Therefore, Candidates For This Position Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work During These Times. Additionally, They Should Be Able To Adapt To Changing Business Needs And Be Willing To Take On Additional Responsibilities As Needed.
