Welcome to the Party City team! We are a dynamic and exciting company that specializes in providing customers with everything they need to throw the perfect party. We are currently seeking a Retail Sales Team Member to join our team and help us make every celebration a memorable one. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to interact with customers and help them find the perfect party supplies and decorations. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, enthusiastic, and loves to celebrate. If you have a passion for customer service and a knack for creating a fun and inviting atmosphere, we want you on our team!

  1. Greet and welcome customers to Party City with a positive and friendly attitude.
  2. Assist customers in finding and selecting the perfect party supplies and decorations.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by proactively engaging with customers and addressing their needs and concerns.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking and arranging merchandise.
  5. Answer customer inquiries and provide product information and recommendations.
  6. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
  8. Stay up-to-date on current party trends and product offerings to effectively assist customers.
  9. Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase sales and meet performance goals.
  10. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Maintain knowledge of store policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  12. Contribute to a positive and fun work environment by actively participating in team meetings and activities.
  13. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of customers and team members.
  14. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  15. Represent Party City in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Customers In A Friendly And Professional Manner.

  • Sales Experience: Previous Experience In A Retail Setting Or In Sales Is Preferred. This Includes Knowledge Of Upselling Techniques And The Ability To Close A Sale.

  • Product Knowledge: A Good Understanding Of Party City's Products And Services Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Provide Accurate Information And Recommendations To Customers.

  • Cash Handling And Point Of Sale (Pos) Experience: The Candidate Should Have Experience Handling Cash And Using A Pos System. This Includes Processing Transactions, Handling Returns, And Managing Cash Drawers.

  • Team Player: Party City Is A Fast-Paced Environment, And The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Work Well With A Team. This Includes Collaborating With Team Members, Assisting With Tasks When Needed, And Maintaining A Positive Attitude.
