Job Description

As the Store Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of dedicated employees to ensure exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience. Our ideal candidate is a natural leader with a passion for providing excellent customer service and a strong understanding of retail operations.   1. Lead and manage a team of employees to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  3. Train and develop team members on customer service techniques, product knowledge, and company policies and procedures.
  4. Create and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability for customers.
  6. Work closely with upper management to achieve sales goals and targets.
  7. Foster a positive and collaborative team dynamic through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  8. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure efficient store operations.
  9. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  10. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  11. Handle customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry and market trends to make informed decisions for the store.
  13. Create and maintain a visually appealing and organized store layout.
  14. Adhere to and enforce all cash handling and loss prevention policies.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve store processes and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Store Team Leader, You Will Be Responsible For Managing And Leading A Team Of Employees. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Support, And Motivate Team Members To Achieve Their Goals.

  • Retail Experience: Party City Is A Retail Store, So Having Previous Experience In A Similar Environment Is Highly Desirable. This Includes Knowledge Of Store Operations, Customer Service, Inventory Management, And Cash Handling.

  • Organizational Skills: A Store Team Leader Must Be Highly Organized To Effectively Manage The Store's Daily Operations. This Includes Creating Schedules, Managing Inventory, And Ensuring That All Tasks Are Completed In A Timely And Efficient Manner.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Crucial For A Store Team Leader. You Will Need To Communicate With Employees, Customers, And Upper Management On A Daily Basis. This Includes Providing Clear Instructions, Handling Customer Complaints, And Reporting To Higher Management.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: As A Store Team Leader, You Will Encounter Various Challenges And Problems That Require Quick Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills. This Could Include Resolving Conflicts Between Team Members, Addressing Customer Concerns, Or Finding Solutions To Operational Issues.
