- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential plant diseases and create effective prevention and treatment strategies.
- Monitor and assess the health and productivity of PepsiCo's plants, including conducting regular inspections and collecting samples for testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated pest management plans to mitigate plant diseases.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in plant pathology and incorporate new techniques and technologies into PepsiCo's disease management strategies.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior management, plant managers, and external partners, in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop and deliver training programs for plant employees on disease prevention and management strategies.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of plant diseases, treatments, and outcomes using relevant software and tools.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as universities and research institutions, to conduct joint research projects and share knowledge and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations and guidelines while conducting disease management activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve PepsiCo's disease management procedures and protocols to enhance plant health and productivity.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Plant Pathology Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Plant Disease Management And Research
Knowledge Of Various Plant Pathogens And Their Control Methods
Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment, As Well As Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
