- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for various product lines using historical data, market trends, and customer insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and production to understand and incorporate business strategies and initiatives into demand plans
- Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer demand patterns to identify any potential risks or opportunities
- Utilize forecasting tools and systems to generate and maintain demand plans and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
- Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of demand plans to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely delivery of products and to address any supply chain issues
- Lead and participate in supply chain optimization projects to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in demand planning and supply chain management to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization
- Mentor and train junior demand planners to develop their skills and enhance the overall performance of the team.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Demand Planning Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Consumer Goods Industry.
Proficiency In Demand Planning Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Advanced Excel Skills.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Strategic Recommendations.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Sales, Marketing, And Operations Teams.
