In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary to become a successful Industrial Maintenance Technician. Assist experienced technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks on production equipment.
Learn how to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and assist in making necessary repairs.
Participate in on-the-job training to gain knowledge and understanding of industrial maintenance techniques and procedures.
Observe and follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to senior technicians.
Assist in maintaining inventory levels of necessary parts and supplies for equipment repairs.
Keep work area clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of production equipment.
Continuously seek opportunities to learn and improve skills in industrial maintenance.

Job Qualifications

Strong Mechanical Aptitude And Technical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Machinery And Equipment Used In Industrial Settings, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Mechanical Issues.
Knowledge Of Electrical Systems: This Role May Involve Working With Electrical Systems And Components, So A Basic Understanding Of Electrical Principles And Wiring Is Important.
Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Diagrams And Manuals: The Apprentice Should Be Able To Understand And Follow Technical Schematics, Blueprints, And Operating Manuals To Perform Maintenance Tasks Accurately And Safely.
Physical Stamina And Dexterity: The Job May Involve Heavy Lifting, Standing For Long Periods, And Performing Tasks In Tight Or Elevated Spaces. The Apprentice Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Work In A Variety Of Conditions.
Strong Work Ethic And Willingness To Learn: Perdue Farms Is Looking For Individuals Who Are Motivated, Reliable, And Eager To Learn. This Role Will Involve On-The-Job Training And The Apprentice Should Be Open To Learning New Skills And Techniques To Become A Successful Maintenance Technician.
