Operate and maintain the waste water treatment system in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
Conduct routine monitoring and testing of waste water to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the waste water treatment system in a timely manner.
Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters, to ensure the proper functioning of the system.
Keep accurate records of waste water treatment processes and maintain all necessary documentation for regulatory purposes.
Develop and implement strategies for improving waste water treatment efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of waste water treatment efforts.
Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in waste water treatment technology to continuously improve processes and systems.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Waste Water Treatment Processes: A Waste Water Technician At Perdue Farms Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Waste Water Treatment Processes, Including Primary, Secondary, And Tertiary Treatment Methods.
Familiarity With Environmental Regulations: As A Waste Water Technician, It Is Crucial To Have Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Environmental Regulations Related To Waste Water Treatment And Discharge. This Includes Understanding Permit Requirements, Reporting Procedures, And Compliance Standards.
Experience With Maintenance And Troubleshooting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Maintaining And Troubleshooting Equipment Used In Waste Water Treatment, Such As Pumps, Valves, And Control Systems. This Will Ensure The Efficient Operation Of The Treatment Plant And Prevent Any Disruptions In The Treatment Process.
Attention To Detail And Safety: Working With Waste Water Can Be Potentially Hazardous, So Attention To Detail And Safety Protocols Is Essential For A Waste Water Technician. This Includes Following Proper Procedures For Handling Chemicals, Ensuring Equipment Is Properly Maintained, And Accurately Recording Data.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: A Waste Water Technician At Perdue Farms Will Work Closely With A Team Of Operators And Engineers, As Well As Communicate With Regulatory Agencies And Contractors.
