- Perform breast ultrasound examinations on patients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for ultrasound imaging.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
- Provide patient education and explanations of procedures to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Review and analyze images to identify any abnormalities or potential areas of concern.
- Assist in the biopsy process by accurately marking areas of concern.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in breast ultrasound technology and techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and physicians to provide exceptional patient care.
- Attend training and educational opportunities to continually improve skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.

Certification: A Valid Certification As An Ultrasound Technologist (Rdms) From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Or The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Is Required.
Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As An Ultrasound Technologist In A Breast Center Or Similar Setting Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Breast Imaging: In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Breast Imaging Techniques, Equipment, And Procedures Is Essential For This Role.
Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Necessary To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Breast Center Setting.
Team Player: The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Radiologists, Nurses, And Other Technologists, Is Crucial In Providing High-Quality Patient Care In A Breast Center Environment.
