  1. Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of a Certified Medical Assistant at Piedmont Healthcare is to provide exceptional care to patients. This includes assisting with examinations, procedures, and treatments, as well as addressing any concerns or questions from patients.
  2. Perform clinical tasks: The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting and preparing lab specimens.
  3. Maintain medical records: It is the responsibility of the Certified Medical Assistant to accurately and efficiently maintain patient medical records. This includes updating information, documenting patient visits, and organizing and filing records.
  4. Assist healthcare professionals: The Certified Medical Assistant will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide support and assistance as needed. This may include preparing examination rooms, restocking supplies, and communicating patient information.
  5. Ensure patient comfort and safety: As a healthcare provider, Piedmont Healthcare prioritizes patient comfort and safety. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for creating a welcoming and safe environment for patients, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Certified Medical Assistant Program: A Prospective Candidate Must Have Completed An Accredited Medical Assistant Program And Obtained The Necessary Certification.

  • Proficiency In Medical Terminology And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures, Including Knowledge Of Medical Coding And Billing.

  • Experience In A Clinical Setting: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility, Is Required.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
