Job Description

In this role, you will use your knowledge of human physiology and exercise science to design and implement personalized exercise plans for patients, helping them achieve their health and fitness goals. We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate individual with a degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field, along with certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).   1. Design and implement personalized exercise plans for patients based on their individual needs and goals.
  2. Utilize knowledge of human physiology and exercise science to ensure safe and effective exercise programs.
  3. Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations to determine patients' baseline fitness levels and track progress.
  4. Educate patients on the importance of healthy living and provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle habits.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment plan for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  7. Stay current on the latest research and developments in exercise physiology and incorporate new techniques and methods into treatment plans.
  8. Provide guidance and support to patients during exercise sessions to ensure proper form and technique.
  9. Create a positive and encouraging environment for patients to promote motivation and adherence to exercise plans.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
  12. Continuously evaluate and adjust exercise plans as needed to accommodate changes in patients' health status or goals.
  13. Serve as a role model for healthy living and promote the benefits of exercise to the community.
  14. Participate in departmental and organizational meetings and trainings as required.
  15. Continuously strive for professional growth and development through continuing education and training opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Certified Exercise Physiologist (Cep) Through The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm).

  • Strong Knowledge Of Exercise Prescription And Programming For Individuals With Various Medical Conditions And Injuries.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
