  1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Answer phone calls and address inquiries from patients and other individuals.
  3. Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
  4. Collect and process patient information, including insurance and billing details.
  5. Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with any insurance-related questions.
  6. Explain office policies, procedures, and services to patients.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care.
  8. Manage and coordinate patient referrals to other healthcare providers.
  9. Handle patient complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  10. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  11. Utilize computer systems and software to complete tasks and maintain patient records.
  12. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  13. Attend training sessions and stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  14. Serve as a positive representation of Piedmont Healthcare and its mission to provide exceptional care.
  15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Front Office Or Administrative Role In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills And Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record (Emr) Systems And Experience With Insurance Verification And Billing Processes.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Ability To Accurately Schedule Appointments And Maintain Patient Records.

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent, With Additional Training Or Certification In Medical Office Administration Preferred.
