HIM Associate II - Part Time

1. Maintain and organize patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
2. Process and respond to requests for medical records in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information at all times.
4. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
5. Assist with data entry and maintenance of electronic health records.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and policies.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the accuracy and integrity of medical records.
8. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members to address any concerns or issues related to medical records.
9. Prioritize tasks and manage workload in a fast-paced environment to ensure efficient and effective completion of responsibilities.
10. Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on industry changes and advancements in technology.
11. Act as a resource for other team members and provide support and guidance when needed.
12. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
13. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
