  1. Oversee the safe and timely transportation of patients throughout the facility.
  2. Ensure that patients are treated with care and compassion during transportation.
  3. Train and supervise a team of patient transporters to ensure efficient and effective service.
  4. Maintain a strong understanding of patient needs and coordinate with other departments to meet those needs.
  5. Develop and implement protocols and procedures for patient transportation to ensure safety and efficiency.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare staff to provide excellent customer service.
  7. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of patient transport equipment.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
  9. Maintain accurate records of patient transports and report any issues or concerns to management.
  10. Serve as a role model for patient transporters, demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and a strong work ethic.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  13. Foster a positive and supportive work environment for the patient transport team.
  14. Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare staff to address any concerns or issues.
  15. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and service delivery.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Transportation.

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Ability To Lead And Supervise A Team Of Patient Transporters.
