As a Patient Access Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by efficiently and accurately registering patients, verifying insurance information, and collecting necessary payments.   1. Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Accurately register patients for appointments, procedures, and admissions.
  3. Verify insurance information and ensure all necessary authorizations are obtained.
  4. Collect and process payments from patients for services rendered.
  5. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  6. Utilize electronic medical record system to enter and maintain patient information.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  10. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations.
  11. Keep accurate records of patient interactions and maintain organized and up-to-date files.
  12. Continuously monitor and improve patient satisfaction through feedback and quality improvement initiatives.
  13. Stay updated on all policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient registration and admission.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Attend trainings and meetings to stay current on job-related skills and knowledge.
  16. Respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner.
  17. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements for better patient care and operational efficiency.
  18. Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed.
  19. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
