Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Ged Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Equivalent Is Required For This Position.

  • Previous Experience In A Security Or Law Enforcement Role: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Security Or Law Enforcement Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Cpr And First Aid Certification: All Candidates Must Possess A Valid Cpr And First Aid Certification, Or Be Willing To Obtain One Within The First 90 Days Of Employment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Public Safety Officers Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Visitors, And Staff, So Strong Communication Skills Are Essential. Candidates Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively And Professionally In Both Verbal And Written Forms.

  • Physical Fitness And Ability To Handle Emergencies: This Job Can Be Physically Demanding, And Candidates Should Be Able To Lift And Move Up To 50 Pounds And Be Able To Stand And Walk For Extended Periods Of Time. They Should Also Be Able To Handle Emergency Situations Calmly And Efficiently, And Be Able To Make Quick And Sound Decisions.
