
Technology Services & Application Support Specialist
Providence College is seeking an experienced Technology Services & Application Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who is knowledgeable in all aspects of technology services and application support, including troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, a good work ethic, and be able to work independently.The Technology Services & Application Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, installation, and maintenance of a variety of applications and software used by the college. They will also be responsible for responding to service requests, researching and resolving technical problems, and assisting in the development and implementation of new software and applications.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field. They must also have a minimum of two years’ experience in a technical service and application support position. Excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, are essential. Experience with software development and testing, knowledge of common operating systems and hardware, and experience with scripting and programming languages is also desired.We are looking for a professional, motivated individual who is passionate about technology and enjoys working in a challenging and evolving environment.
