- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of young children.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for children to learn and thrive in.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community.
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child and provide individualized support and feedback as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and development.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in early childhood education.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on their child's development and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of all children.
- Uphold the values and mission of Providence St. Joseph Health in all aspects of the role.
- Continuously reflect on and evaluate teaching practices to ensure high-quality education for all children.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and licensing requirements for early childhood education.
- Serve as a positive role model for children, promoting respect, kindness, and inclusivity.
Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education Or A Related Field
State Certification Or Licensure In Early Childhood Education
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Young Children In A Classroom Setting
Strong Understanding Of Child Development And Early Childhood Curriculum
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Parents And Other Educators To Create A Nurturing And Educational Environment For Children.
