1. Provide support to medical staff in the emergency department by assisting with patient care, procedures, and treatments.
2. Maintain a clean and organized environment in the emergency department, ensuring that all supplies and equipment are readily available.
3. Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to medical staff.
4. Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs, obtaining medical history, and preparing patients for examinations.
5. Prepare and stock exam rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
6. Transport patients to and from various areas within the hospital as needed.
7. Ensure patient comfort and safety by responding promptly to requests for assistance.
8. Follow all hospital protocols and procedures, as well as maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
9. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.

11. Adhere to infection control and safety policies and procedures.
12. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide the best possible care for patients.
13. Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following proper protocols.
14. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and procedures.
15. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in healthcare.

17. Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing paperwork.
18. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in emergency care.
19. Attend departmental meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
20. Other duties as assigned by the emergency department manager or supervising medical staff.
