- Provide critical support to the emergency department staff in order to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
- Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients, under the direction of medical professionals.
- Perform basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and applying bandages.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, providing comfort and reassurance during often stressful situations.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Candidates Applying For The Emergency Department Technician Position Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Cpr/Bls Certification: As The First Point Of Contact For Patients In The Emergency Department, It Is Important For The Technician To Have Current Cpr/Bls Certification.
Previous Healthcare Experience: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Particularly In An Emergency Department Or Urgent Care Setting, Is Highly Preferred.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment Like The Emergency Department. Candidates Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
