- Oversee and manage the maintenance and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within our facilities, including but not limited to lighting, wiring, generators, and control systems.
- Lead a team of electricians, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and strategies for electrical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, and develop effective and efficient solutions.
- Coordinate and oversee projects related to electrical systems, including new installations, upgrades, and renovations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in electrical systems and share knowledge with team members.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and laws related to electrical systems and safety.
- Communicate regularly with management and other departments to provide updates on electrical projects and maintenance activities.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency electrical repairs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among team members.

Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Electrical Systems: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Electrical Systems And Equipment Commonly Found In Healthcare Facilities, Such As Emergency Power Generators, Lighting Systems, And Hvac Controls.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Lead Electrician, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Work Of A Team Of Electricians And Ensuring That All Tasks Are Completed Efficiently And To The Highest Quality Standards. Thus, Strong Leadership Skills Are A Must For This Role.
Experience In Facilities Management: The Lead Electrician Will Be Working Within The Facilities Management Department, So Having Prior Experience In This Field Is Highly Desirable. This Includes Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Facility Maintenance Procedures.
Ability To Troubleshoot And Problem Solve: Electrical Systems Can Be Complex, And Issues Can Arise Unexpectedly. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Being Able To Troubleshoot Problems And Come Up With Effective Solutions In A Timely Manner.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Lead Electrician Will Be Working With A Diverse Team Of Individuals, From Other Electricians To Facility Managers And Healthcare Staff.
