
Lead Electrician - Facilities Management

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the electrical maintenance team.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and develop solutions.
- Coordinate with other departments and contractors to schedule and complete larger electrical projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Train and mentor junior electricians.
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and equipment.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work is completed to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and keep electrical systems running smoothly.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements in electrical technology.

Extensive Electrical Knowledge And Experience: The Lead Electrician Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Electrical Systems And Equipment, As Well As Hands-On Experience In The Field. This Can Include Knowledge Of Electrical Codes And Regulations, Troubleshooting Skills, And Experience With Various Types Of Electrical Equipment.
Leadership Skills: As A Lead Electrician, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing And Coordinating The Work Of Other Electricians And Technicians. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance, And Resolve Conflicts, Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Safety Training And Certifications: Working With Electricity Can Be Dangerous, So It Is Crucial That The Lead Electrician Has Comprehensive Safety Training And Certifications, Such As Osha 10 Or 30, To Ensure A Safe Work Environment For Themselves And Their Team.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Lead Electrician Will Need To Communicate Effectively With Team Members, As Well As With Other Departments And Stakeholders Within The Organization.
