Your friendly demeanor and outstanding customer service skills will be crucial in creating a positive experience for our patients. In addition to providing exceptional service, you will also play a vital role in maintaining accurate and organized medical records and scheduling appointments.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of two years of experience in a medical office setting. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must, as well as proficiency in electronic medical records systems.   1. Greet patients and their families with a warm and welcoming attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  3. Maintain accurate and organized medical records, including patient information, insurance information, and medical history.
  4. Schedule appointments and follow up with patients to confirm upcoming visits.
  5. Ensure all necessary paperwork and forms are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  6. Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary co-pays or payments.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  8. Adhere to all patient privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures.
  9. Assist with billing and coding tasks, including submitting claims and processing payments.
  10. Keep current with industry changes and updates, including insurance regulations and electronic medical records systems.
  11. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
  12. Provide support to other team members and assist with tasks as needed.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Uphold the mission and values of Providence St. Joseph Health in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and actively seek opportunities to enhance the patient experience.

Job Qualifications
