  1. Perform and interpret a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and mammography, using nuclear medicine and women's imaging equipment.
  2. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine and women's imaging and incorporate them into practice.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans based on imaging results.
  4. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient imaging records.
  6. Educate patients and their families on imaging procedures and results.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  9. Mentor and train other radiology staff members.
  10. Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion while interacting with patients and colleagues.
  11. Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of imaging equipment.
  12. Keep accurate records of imaging equipment maintenance and repairs.
  13. Work collaboratively with other radiologists and medical staff to provide the best possible care for patients.
  14. Attend and participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current with developments in the field of nuclear medicine and women's imaging.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  16. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  17. Follow all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
  18. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  19. Adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards of practice.
  20. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Providence St. Joseph Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Both Nuclear Medicine And Women's Imaging By The American Board Of Radiology Or Equivalent.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Nuclear Medicine And Women's Imaging Is Required For This Role. Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare System Setting Is Preferred.

  • Advanced Training: The Candidate Should Have Completed An Accredited Fellowship Program In Nuclear Medicine And Women's Imaging And Possess Advanced Knowledge And Skills In These Areas.

  • Licensure: A Valid Medical License To Practice Medicine In The State Where The Position Is Located Is Required. The Candidate Should Also Possess A Nuclear Medicine License And Appropriate Certification To Administer Radiopharmaceuticals.

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team. Strong Leadership, Organizational And Time-Management Skills Are Also Required.
