
Nurse Practitioner - Geriatrics

Required qualifications:- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program- Current and unrestricted NP license- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Geriatrics- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team- Current BLS and ACLS certifications- Knowledge of geriatric health issues, treatments, and medications- Comfortable with electronic medical records systems- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care for elderly patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for geriatric patients.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of geriatric patients' physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Prescribe and manage medications, treatments, and therapies for geriatric patients.
- Educate patients and their families on geriatric health issues, treatments, and medications.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Continuously stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in geriatric care.
