1. Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations of patients to assess their weight loss needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
2. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to weight loss care.
3. Monitor and track patients' progress towards their weight loss goals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
4. Educate patients on healthy lifestyle habits and provide resources for sustainable weight loss.
5. Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
6. Document patient visits and treatments accurately and thoroughly in medical records.
7. Maintain a current knowledge of weight loss management techniques, treatments, and medications.
8. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients, creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
9. Act as a resource for patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about their weight loss journey.
10. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in weight loss management.
11. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
12. Serve as a positive representative of the organization, promoting our mission and values to patients and the community.
13. Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to raise awareness about the weight loss program and services offered.
14. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all infection control and safety protocols.
15. Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
