
Senior Staffing Coordinator
Providence St. Joseph Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Staffing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Staffing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our organization has the right talent in the right positions to provide exceptional care to our patients. - Develop and implement staffing strategies to ensure adequate coverage for all departments within Providence St. Joseph Health.
- Create and maintain employee schedules, taking into consideration factors such as shift preferences, availability, and staffing needs.
- Coordinate with department managers to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
- Monitor staffing levels and make adjustments as necessary to meet changing demands.
- Collaborate with HR and recruitment teams to identify and fill staffing gaps.
- Conduct regular audits of employee schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update employee records, including contact information, credentials, and licensure.
- Monitor and track employee attendance and time off requests.
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding schedule changes, expectations, and performance feedback.
- Analyze staffing data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management.
- Serve as a resource and provide support to employees on staffing-related inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to maintain and improve staffing software and systems.
- Train and mentor junior staffing coordinators on best practices and processes.
- Continuously review and improve staffing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Staffing And Recruitment, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Hr Laws And Regulations, Including Eeoc, Fmla, And Ada.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
Proven Experience In Managing And Developing A Team, With A Focus On Promoting A Positive And Inclusive Work Culture.
